About
The Racists Gallery is a collaborative project in a Collective of Black Historians named 'Teresa de Benguela', an anti-racist website named 'Notícia Preta' and a collective of black advertisers.
The project is the result of extensive research on Brazilian monuments that tribute slave figures who have committed various crimes against humanity. The Racists Gallery is an affirmative action that aims to expose the true history of the tributed pro-slavery.
The project is a way to provoke society in the same reflection caused by other protests in the world. In Brazil, monuments with their exact location have been cataloged and you can denounce and pressure the government to immediately remove that kind of racist tribute from the country's streets.
Racism cannot be part of our country's history. The full content of the survey on the art
of Racism in Brazil is available to you.
